  1. I was sleeved on Dec 21st, and am still in the liquid phase. I was making dinner for my family, 2 days post-op with help. Being around food for the first week to week and a half was not a prob for me, wasnt interested. But oh my goodness now I would chew someones arm if they put it in front of me! lol. I would say to you that your family doesnt need to "go away to eat". that seems loneyly for you! Its a small phase that we have to go through... it will pass, then we will be on to soft foods. Everyday gets easier! Hoping tomorrow I get to try soft foods! Im starving! lol Chin up!! You can do it! It will be so worth it in the end!! I weighted myself today... down 15.2 lbs!
  2. It took me a few days to even try to take the capsule! But I found an easy way to do it! I take a small drink of Water pop the capsule then tilt head down and swallow! easy easy! Was scared the first time but good to go now!! The first 2 weeks are liquid so no I didnt even consider putting it in applesauce. I did contact the office to talk to Amy the dietician, she was great. Hoping tomorrow that I can start soft foods.. fingers crossed! No I dont live in SF, just a few hrs away though. Where are you from?
  3. I had my surgery the day before you and am terrified to put anything into my mouth other than what the Dr said. So its liquids until 2 week , then soft foods for another 2 weeks. Did your dr give you specific guidelines??? Just curious! ?
  4. Hi, are there any Cirangle patients out there? I am 10 days post-op and am so sick of the liquids! Help!!
  5. I didnt have to go on a liquid diet before surgery! Wonder why not?
