  1. I had my surgery with Dr. Ortiz. I have absolutely no complaints. One of the doctors there even has called a few times to check up and see how I am doing. I would recommend OCC.
  2. That sounds scary. Is there any tests that we can have done to see if there is an issue? I was also told nothing about this kind of thing happening.
  3. I am 6 weeks since my plication. The last 4 days my stomach makes lots of weird noises. it is not painful just sounds weird. Any one else had this before?
  4. Thanks for all the replies. Haven't lost a pound in 2 weeks, but reading these helps to know others have been through this and know how it feels. Your comments help a lot.
  5. I had the plication done with Dr .Ortiz 4 weeks ago and I would go back there again. Its still a non invasive surgery I wouldn't worry about being in a hospital.
  6. I had my plication done on dec. 2 and can't believe how slow the wight loss is. I lost more weight on the 2 week pre op diet than I have the last for weeks. I have only lost 8 lbs in 4 weeks. I dont understand why, I can only eat very small portions and only at meal times. I added my calories at about five hundred a day and have started exercising. This doesn't make any sense. Did I waste my money, it seems everyone else loses weight real fast on here, starting to get very depressed.
  7. The recovery is quite fast I was even back out curling 3 weeks after my surgery. I didn't think I would even be able to play the whole game, but it actually felt good, helped get some gas out of my stomach and felt better.
