you're right...it could be the CO2 gas...it just feels really sharp and it's only when I move...I was thinking of going in for an x-ray because maybe a staple got loose...have you ever heard of that???

I am 5 days post op and I am having stabbing pain in my right breast...not underneath but it feels like it is actually in my breast. I don't think it is gas pain...did anyone speak with their dr about what else it could be? I am thinking of going in for an x-ray to see if a staple came loose...has anyone ever heard of that happening...help

Thank you for letting me know...I don't think it's gas...I've experienced gas pain...it just feels like an actual stabbing pain in my breast...similar to a pin or needle stabbing pain...I am hoping somebody might know about this...

I just had gastric surgery on Tuesday and I am home from the hospital. I have had a stabbing pain in my right breast since I got home 2 days ago. Has anybody had or heard of that type of pain? What was it? Any recommendations? Please help...
