Hi Susan I don't think that any Dr in US will do that surgery with BMI less than 40 except those Patient with BMI 35-39 with majors health problem, I'm in that case my BMI is 34.5 and I looking the posibility to do it in other place with that BMI and some health problems like Hypertension, gastric acid reflux, arthritis, and high risk of diabetes I'm in the need of a final result to my weight, as all of us I has been dieting all my life with the result of gaining back and more the weight lossed in the diet, do more research and ask don't stop and continue looking for your goal.
