Hi, I am on 3 weeks full liquids then 3 weeks soft diet then regular food. Every time I feel sick of liquids I remind myself of the leak horror stories. It works!! LOL
Hey MicNic, I am so glad to hear that I am not alone in feeling brainless! I have forgotten simple things and stared blankly at my family because I hear them but they aren't making sense. I am writing it off to poor sleep and still getting the anesthesia and meds out of my body. I really think some people metabolize drugs faster and better than others! Give yourself a break and be kind to yourself.
Hey there fellow sleevers! I had surgery on Nov 16 and am still on liquids..."whatever can go through a strainer". I have more energy every day and don't have pain at all. My stitches pull if I bend or stretch too much but that is all. I am really anxious to move to mushies or soft stage. Anything to eat! Drinking my meals is getting old!! Looking forward to this wild journey that we are on!
I was sleeved on Nov 16th also. Came home after two days in the hospital. My JP drain was removed in the hospital before I left. The liquid diet has caught up with me and no worries about bowl movements here!! Also that time of the month has come early. On another post, someone talked about getting your TOM after surgery is normal and nature's way of making sure there is no pregnancy risk. I have been craving a hamburger....!! I am very sore in my stomach and my back. Keep telling myself that it will get better and sip and walk.
I can't believe it's here! I am on liquids only for pre-op (no solids after lunchtime they said). I am so nervous although I know that I will be in good hands and have the most help and monitoring in the hospital. Wishing a speedy recovery to all who are scheduled soon! See you on the other side
Hey Fly Girl! I am scheduled for my sleeve tomorrow too! So I clicked on your profile wondering if we were in the same town/hospital (we're not) BUT I saw that we share the same birthday!!! Since we have the same birthday and "rebirthday", we definitely have to keep each other posted!
