Are you taking your vitamins? I definately, find that my urine has a vitamin smell.

I will be 14 days out tomorrow and am having the same problem. The drinks I was able to tolerate prior to surgery make me gag now.

This is the tough part...if you can get through this the rest should be easy. Good luck to you.

Good Luck to you. I am one week out and am doing fantastic. I was shocked at just how little pain I actually had. Had I known it would be this easy I probably would have done this years ago. I know that you made the right decision...don't second guess yourself. Take care and best of luck!!!

All the posters are right. I am 4 days out and am playing the head game as well. I am sure that it is just because it is new to us. When I'm feeling overwhelmed or feel the need to turn to food, instead I turn to the postings on this forum to find that I am not alone and that this is just a part of the process.

So glad I found this post, I am 4 days out and feeling really hungary today. For some reason my sense of taste and smell changed after surgery and it is really hard for me to handle the smell of the protein shakes. Any suggestions?
