  1. I understand completely MlkPas, and had we been in a non-buffet situation, there would not have been a problem. I would have done exactly that. Its what I have done in the past. However, I couldnt see having my dad pay $25.99 for a buffet meal just so I could eat 4 oz of food. They dont allow a "doggie bag" in any buffet that Ive been to in any Vegas Hotel. Perhaps its just because Ive never asked. Just seems a little low-brow to me. Asking to be charged for an extra plate or the kids meal price and suck down a little of my pride is not too much to ask IMESOH.
  2. Thank you all for posting this! I live in Vegas, home of the Buffet! I belong to several support groups, work for surgeons & hadnt heard of this card! I hadnt had a problem until last night while trying to have dinner w/family from out of town. I was told by a casino buffet that I needed "the card" to prove I had surgery. Mind you, not only had I been to several other higher end places & had no problems, but so had other patients who had had surgery before me. Now, I will just Whip out my CARD!
  3. Oh, I could just cry for joy!! ME TOO!! I had my surg 7/23 and I quickly lost 20#, then nothing. I thought... OMG! Am I "eating" too much? Did I do something wrong? Do I need to start doing something else? I mean, its only been a couple of weeks... but it really freaks you out huh? I cant wait to start excersing beyond walking because I know this will help and I know that in weight loss there are always plateau's, but I didnt expect one this soon.
