  1. I have surgery on Monday. My doctor put me on 2 weeks of ONLY: 6 protein drinks per day, 2 protein bars, and lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, celery, and bell pepper. THAT'S ALL! No dressing. The first 5 day were difficult so I got full on the roughage. Today was all clear and from Noon Sunday to Monday (surgery is at noon) it's complete fasting. If all of this helps me to get through surgery safely - it's worth it! I can bare anything after carrying around 100 lbs of excess weight! GOOD LUCK ...sending a prayer! ~g
