  1. Congratulations!!!! Hoping all goes well and that you are able to post soon with your progress!!
  2. This is very encouraging! Thanks for sharing and KEEP POSTING! Can't wait for my schedule date!!
  3. How do you all take your Vitamins and pills? For instance I have really bad allergies and take a small round zyrtek everyday, I have a blood pressure pill and Water pill - hopefully after surgery I will not NEED this... I am on Effexor which is a capsule and i have to take 3 Large Capsules per day at one time. I also take large Multi Vitamins (I mean horse pill large lol). Finally I take a few other smaller pills like Melatonin for bed and Lortab from a car accident that are a good size. All in all I think I consume about 7-8 pills per day. I have switched my Vitamin B-12 to liquid - but that is all. I haven't had the surgery yet and I am very worried that my meds will make me throw up, be sick or not go down. Is anyone else on a large amount of medication - and how do you deal with this post op....? Thanks for any advice!
  4. I am so encouraged by all of the posts on this subject! My husband has been letting me make the decision, allowing me to use our finances but is not very supportive as he feels like someone had mentioned above "anyone can do anything if they try". yet ---- he is very overweight himself. 5. I am very grateful for your post! Your experience is truly encouraging and provides a "real" up to the minute idea of what to expect. This is the best gift you will ever give yourself so CONGRATULATIONS! I cannot wait for mine!!!
  6. Thank you! I am hoping for the end of May or Beginning of June so we will be around the same time! I appreciate the encouragement!!! I am a musician and I have to play guitar and sing on the weekends, so not knowing my date is killing me for bookings...and it is all I can think about and talk about!! I am driving my Family Crazy!! :lol0:
  7. I have been following your posts for a while, actually a few of you on here! I finally bit the bullet and joined! I am not sure when I will be approved for my final surgery date, however, the more I read, the more I realize that the sleeve is the right choice for me. I wanted you to know how encouraging it is to know that everyone here is willing to discuss their progress and keep posting!!!! It helps those of us in the decision making process to come to terms with their choice and know there is support out there outside of their surgeons office! So, THANK YOU!
