Hi Sheryl, :biggrin0: I want to thank you for your response. I am happy to hear your excited about your op. I am really looking forward to mine too, yet saying that I have found myself eating more than I usually do, dont know if thats the nerves kicking in. I am keen to have a life change,but it seems like its going to take a lot of determination. So did you wait long to be accepted or was you accepted straight away? I got accepted over a year ago, but the process is soooo long. I had a previous date for October but there was some mix up with the date and not given the correct information....anyway that was then and this is now!!! How are you coping?

I am having op on 24th May and would like to chat to anyone who is due near or around that time. I am also type 2 diabetic and on insulin Would love to chat to you! Gloria
