  1. Oh, we are doing great. My husband is of the mind set that you need to get moving as soon as you can. He rarely complains about pain, although he really misses the food. I fixed my 19 year old son a barbeque pork sandwich and I could see my husband just salivating:hungry:. He is looking forward to having more choices. This first 2 weeks will be the hardest. It is great to hear from someone in Nebraska. We plan to attend the post op meeting. I believe it is this Thursday at St. Elizabeth. I am looking SO forward to it. Thanks for replying.....I am very new at this.
  2. Well, I am from Lincoln also. I was banded on Tuesday, April 3rd and so far, everything has been fine. I am looking forward to the support meetings at St. Elizabeth. My husband was banded on the same day as I was. We figured that it would be good to have it done at the same time. We are the first husband and wife team to have our bands done within hours of each other. It will be nice to meet others from Nebraska, too.
