  8. Hi everyone. I had surgery on 4/8. So far doing good. No major pain or nausea or vomiting. Yesterday I got in about 45gm protein. I also had a small hernia repair. I still have a slight heavy feeling in my throat. It may be gas still. Hopefully all will continue to be well.

  10. Hi Guys!!! Just found this post. My date is April 8! I am sending a pm to join the Facebook group.
  11. I wish I had started the process back in 2005 when I first started researching but then they weren't doing the sleeve that much so maybe it was worth the wait because I really never wanted a bypass. I am playing around with getting my profile set up here. I have a pic on my phone I need to upload. Usually I hide from cameras but when I knew things were progressing I had my husband take a full body pic of me one day when I felt cute. I will probably take a few today since it is nice here in NC. I have watched so many video journeys on YouTube so I am thinking about doing some myself for my own therapy..lol.

  20. Hi everyone!!!! I just wanted to come by and introduce myself. I have been a lurker for quite sometime. I have been considering surgery for some years. Summer 2012 I finally started the process. I have completed all steps and my surgery is scheduled for April 8, 2013. My 42nd birthday is April 2. I am a mixed bags of emotions which I have read on here is very normal. It feels so overwhelming and I am trying to make sure I take care of everything before surgery. I will be hanging around reading here for encouragement and support. I will figure out how to add a tracker and before picture so I can come back and keep notes on my progress. I look forward to "meeting" everyone.
