  3. I had my lap band surgery 9-23-13. On day 5 post op and the emotions are SO OVERWHELMING. I chose to do this surgery because of health issues. I know I have made the right choice but my emotions are SO OUT OF WHACK!! Pain from surgical sights is getting better but I just can't seem to stop the crying!! I know what my life long love affair with food (the bad ones) has come to an abrupt end but the feeling of being out of control is just horrible. I know it has only been 5 days and my body is going through drastic changes but PLEASE PLEASE someone tell me this is normal.
