  1. Hello All, Had my 2nd fill on 10/7/13, somehow it felt a little different....I did not hear the pop sound when the needle went in like the 1st fill I had which didn't seem like a big deal. Also, the area where the needle went in is still badly bruised and my stomach is very bloated. I'm able to eat and drink, have regular bowel movements, plus continue to slowly lose weight. But, not too sure why I'm bruised and bloated. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any idea what is causing the bloating or why the bruise? Thanks in advance for your reply:)
  2. Hey Congratulations!!!! The big day s finally here:) I know it's going to be hard to get some rest, but you really must keep your strength up. The procedure is go to go well. Keep us posted.

  5. What a difference a couple of days make!!! I no longer have the flu like symptoms, I actually felt better last night. Also, I'm getting back to my previous levels of liquids:). Thanks again for all the feedback and support! I was really feeling awful. Glad to be getting back on my feet:). My doctor wants to see me in 2 weeks for possibly another fill. After what I experience these past couple of days, I am really hesitant in keeping that appointment and pushing it out a couple more weeks (1 month). Does anyone know if every fill will make me feel as horrible as I felt during my 1st fill? I really wish my doctor would have warned me how awful I could possibly feel....I would never have gone back to work after the fill, all I could think of was curling up under a nice warm blanket and sleeping the rest of the day. I think I will mention how i felt to my doctor, so that he can prepare others. Thanks again everyone!

  8. YES!! Thank you! I just feel like I'm about to catch a cold or flu (nose running, sneezing, overall achy feeling). Days leading up to my 1st fill I was nervous and not sleeping well. Now that I've experienced my 1st fill, I was nervous and worried for no reason. The process went smoothly:). I just have not been feeling well since the fill. Barely able to drink large amounts of water like I was able to before the fill (before 3 - 4/16.9 oz of water, plus morning protein drink) now I have had 2/16.9oz and half of my 11oz protein drink. Hopefully, I will feel better soon:(
  9. I had my 1st fill yesterday (banded in early August). Everything went well....however, i have been feeling under the weather since the fill. Has anyone else felt the same way after their fill?
