  1. Just got banded Sept 11 but I can't wait to start working out
  2. I know I will forever fight battles with food, but I know this was the best decision I have ever made! I am so happy and have so much energy! You feel like a new person when you eat right and take care of yourself. I knew when I decided to have LapBand surgery that this was it! This was my last chance to lose weight After all my failed attempts at every diet known to man. I can't wait to see where my life goes now! I remind myself everyday EAT TO LIVE. DON'T LIVE TO EAT! Good luck to the ones that are about to have surgery!!!! We can do this!!!!!!

  4. My surgery was September 11th it went really good and wasn't too painful. Just remember as soon as you can get up and walk do it! Walking relieves a lot of the gas pain. Gas pain is where most of your pain comes from! Good luck!
  5. I was also banded on 9/11- I have a hard time getting in the three protein shakes the doctor wants me to have. The doctor told me to do a half a cup of cream of wheat or grits for breakfast. 1 cup of protein shake mid morning. A half of cup of any cream soup for lunch (strained). A protein shake for the afternoon. And 4 oz of Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of protein shake mix and a teaspoon of sugar free jelly and then another protein shake in the evening. I feel like I'm constantly eating. Is this pretty similar to everybody else's menu?
  6. Tomorrow 9/11 is my surgery! I'm so excited I have to be at the hospital at 8:30 am!!!!!
  7. It gets easier try mixing crystal light as your liquid. Gives it bettee flavor.
  8. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a couple years. My Obgyn said when I lose weight it should help. Have you guys heard anything from your doctors about how long to wait before trying?? My surgery is September 11th.
  9. Same with you Georgia
  10. Run71 are you nervous? You're really close. Please keep me posted about how it goes. I'm the week after you.
  11. New me debbie my surgery is Sept. 11th. When is yours?
  12. I am in Florida. The Tampa Bay Area.
  13. Thanks that would be great. Where do you live?
  14. So my surgery date for my LapBand surgery is Sept. 11th. (Lol good thing I'm not superstitious). So I am finishing up my first week of the oh so lovely pre opp diet! The first day I seriously was not thinking I was going to make it, but I promise by day 3-4 it gets so much easier! I got the strawberry protein shakes and the vanilla protein shakes. They are not very appetizing by their self, but a trick I've been doing is mixing my strawberry banana and also tropical fruit crystal light packets with my bottle of water and then measuring one cup of it and mixing it with the shake mix. MUCH BETTER!
