  1. I have had the band for 2 years. In the past 6 months I have had the worst case of acid reflux. I have had 2 different tests to make sure the band did not slip. My doctor unfilled me completely and said that the pouch above the band is a little distended(I had the test in July) after they unfilled it they said I would have to retest in October to see if it is better(if not the band has to come out). I'm ok during the day but at night I am up all night coughing and spitting up. I am on Prilosec 2 times a day, but that's not helping. the doctor said that there is nothing they can do except wait to see in October. I'm so tired and my whole body huts from coughing all night. I'm trying to hold out until October because I really don't want to remove it. Anyone have any reflux remedies I can try(even though the doctor says there is nothing) . I'm desperate for sleep.
