  1. Same thing happened to me. Never had acid problems before but I sure did after. Under control now with Prilosec
  2. My surgeon told me, if possible, avoid any pill larger than a Skittle. He prescribed Prilosec but told me to break open the capsule and sprinkle on room temperature applesauce
  3. I had the same pain in my stomach. Felt like I had to burp but never did. Turned out to be acid reflux. Tums made it go away immeadiately
  4. Also banded July 31. Today is the first day I have felt hungry. Protein shakes and broth seem to be keeping my energy up though.
  5.    Sharpie reacted to a post in a topic: CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP WITH THE FOLLOWING
  6. I was also banded July 31. Trying to balance rest with walking, breathing exercises and just moving around. Could barely eat until thus morning but feeling better all the time. The first 48 hours were very rough, was convinced I had made a BIG mistake. But as I improve I am starting to look forward to a lighter, healthier future.
  7. EGD exam today. Not bad until the sore throat set in. Blah
  8. Also scheduled for July 31. Nervous but looking forward to the big change coming.
