  1. I hear ya, I struggled hard till I got a fill. A little help but I need some more in it.
  2. Mine was pretty much the same but I knew he was going to do it. I wasn't worried about it though, I wanted it.
  3. God, I think we've all been there. I know I can way too much and it doesn't last as long as it should. You're not whining. I know I have had depressing moments.
  4. Sorry to hear about your PCOS. Would prefer to eat less than more, hence why I got the surgery. Lol. I think if I can talk my doc into a filling a little more, I should be good. Good luck to you but it sounds like you're doing great!
  5. I got 1cc. Need more. This journey is one of waiting. Of which, I suck.
  6. First fill was Friday and it was $250. He put 1cc into my 4cc band and might as well have put nothing in it. No restriction, hungry after a few hours and can eat the same amount I did before I was banded.
  7. First fill was Friday and I got 1cc. 3rd day and I don't think I got enough. Still hungry after a few hours. Can eat the same amount I did before the band.
  8. I decided to go with Dr. Terry Simpson. Great guy...
  9. Maybe increase your protein, possibly in shake or shot form.
  10. That was my problem. Sweet on sweet on sweet. Jello, pudding, Popsicle, protein shake. It was killing me. It will pass....
  11. I had mine just a few days after surgery. Probably TMI but mine have been massive. Like 1 1/2 - 3 pounds. I weigh before and after. Not sure if its all the protein or what...
  12. Gas seeks the path of least resistance. One thing that helped, was go down to your knees and then go down to your elbows with your butt in the air. Trust me, it sounds crazy but it works. This tip came from someone on here.
  13. Banded on the 12th and I still have gas pains in my shoulder. Nothing really helped, helps. I tried everything too...
  14. When were you banded? I need filled so bad. I really have no restrictions and can eat and drink all I want. Thank god I have a small amount of will power and stayed pretty much on the diet.
  15. So, I had a horrible scare yesterday and trust me, it takes a lot. I opened a new bag or protein shake mix, cookies and cream, not sure why, I don't like cookies and cream but anyway, it was a zip lock type of bag but it was sealed shut so I had to cut the bag open. I make my shake, sit down and take a sip. It burned my throat, like it was acid. I should mention that it smelled odd, like burnt. I took it back to GNC and swapped it out. The girl said straight away that it smelled odd. Back to vanilla and chocolate!
  16. Cheapest I found here, in Phoenix, was $250 a fill. Still not sure if I am going to go back to Mexico or get it here.
  17. Ate 2 scrambled eggs and toast for lunch today. It tasted awesome. But now it feels like a lead bomb in my gut!
  18. Avila, I hope I don't come off as an ass but I can't keep my mouth shut. I've seen you post similar stuff before about doing something else if you're hungry or stopping after a cup of food. I can only speak for myself but if I had that kind of control, I wouldn't be a fat ass that had to get a Lapband. Your suggestions are noted but at times they, to me, to be a little condescending, in that, I am weak or inferior because I can't do portion control or cannot control my hunger. I can eat the same amount of food I could before banding and am hungrier cause this liquid stuff is not doing the trick. No disrespect meant but I needed to get that off my chest... G
  19. So lovely. I was allergic to the adhesive they used so on yesterday, day 10 post op, I wake up itching like crazy. My chest and stomach is a giant red blotch and itches like crazy. Nothing is helping. NOTHING. Yes, I tried it. God it itches!!!!
  20. Yes. I ate the day after surgery. Eating soup, tuna, oatmeal, toast and just ate a few nuts....
