  1. Never heard of it, I have just been a ginger fan for years and know that some people do not tolerate anesthesia well and become nauseated - I am lucky and don't - I tolerate it very well. Best of luck to you!!
  2. Hey, Josiebies - Try ginger for the nausea -I have candied ginger from the local Asian market - but any will work. Just put a very small piece in your mouth, bite down, but don't chew or swallow it - just allow your mouth to fill and then swallow the juice. Its a 3,000 year old remedy and its never failed me! Good luck !
  3. Great luck to you! You are a week ahead of me with Dr. Ortiz - I wish you ease and peace and loss!! :clap2:
  4. Thank you! I am so sorry to see you suffered a slipped band! How are you doing now ?
  5. Hi ! I am new to this board - have been reading a lot of posts - I am to be banded in Mexico by the famed Dr Ortiz on Monday, April 9th - which I've begun to regard as my second birthday ! I've been yo-yo dieting for about 25 years now - and I'm so looking forward to the end of that! I'm in the preop diet phase - which is a little tough, but I'm tougher. I'm grateful for this outlet - as I've chosen to take this journey alone - I have found the older I get the less I wish to confess. Best of luck to all of us ! :clap2:
