Hello All, My name is Alicia. I'm 22 y/o. I live in Las Vegas, NV . For the past few months I have been researching, and looking into Lap-Band Surgery. I am happy to announce I will be attending my first Seminar next week, and scheduling my Consultation with the Doctor after. I am scared, but I'm so ready to truly be happy. To be ME again. I have fallen in a slope the past few years, and I'm ready to FIGHT BACK. I want my life back, and I want to learn how to control my eating habits. I want a healthy lifestyle, because I want to be around for my children (when they are born). I know this isn't going to be easy, and there will be tears, hunger, pain and even excitement. I just hope that I can find a Support group in my area, and also utilize this forum to communicate with other brave people who have decided to better their lives, and lead a healthier life style. Kudos to you all. I will try my hardest to update my profile as the time gets closer, and I get the magical words that my insurance will cover the surgery. I can't wait! -Alicia
