Tiny Dishes, Scales, and Portion Control
Hello all! Another question here. My surgery is in a few weeks and I read a lot about weighing out my food, using smaller dishes and things like MFP. I'm curious on how you all portion out your food? My weight loss Advocate swears its easiest to use small dishes? Sounds silly until she pulled out a small 3oz bowl when we were out eating and scooped what she was able into her bowl. I know there will be some trial and error but I just want an idea of how to make this transition easier. Thanks ahead of time!

How exciting! I love reading these because they give me a heads up. Surgery is in a few weeks and I CAN'T wait! I'm still nervous about the tube in the throat.. It just gives me anxiety thinking about it.. I'm not sure its the tube and not other things! Glad everything went smoothly for you! Best Wishes! xx

Surgery - Never Had Before
Hey, first off welcome and congrats on making your first step! I'm a newbie here too! My Surgery is in just a few weeks. I'm pretty nervous as well, the good thing is during that consultation you can ask as many questions as you want... at least thats what I did! There is a lot of people here that can explain how the actual surgery is performed etc. My suggestion is write down all your concerns and basic questions and make them known during the actual consultation. I'm excited for you and hope you get all your questions answered! I know I'm getting close to my surgery and I still ask 1000 questions! haha xx best wishes!

Surgery (Houston) on 07.15 - Dr. Scarborough (but hearing a lot of people rave about True Results?)
Im using TrueResults in Hurst, TX and I will have to say... they have been pretty amazing! TrueResults is great in general but like mentioned, because you're self pay, it may be easier to stay with the surgeon you have now, as long as you are confident and comfortable with them! TrueResults is really a great tool and advocate to use if you have to go through Insurance, as they help you with making it a much easier task then doing it on your own. Also my surgery is JULY 22nd... just a week after yours! woo hoo! Exciting. Keep us updated on everything!

Tmi
I have a defect in my uterus and have my menstrual for sometimes up to 80 days, so this was my first question. My doctor was very sweet and said it happens often and they would give me paper panties and a pad to wear. The procedure is not long and they do there best to keep you covered and my privacy is there 1st concern next to my safety. It will be okay! Congrats on the surgery date!
