  1. I was banded on December 20th, so I'm a week out today. I had pretty much no pain after surgery. I was up walking a mile or so the day I came home. But I've noticed yesterday, and especially today when I woke up my pain was substantially worse. I looked in the mirror and most of my belly is yellow (I'm guessing its bruised?). Is it normal to be bruised all over like that? I called my surgeon and he said if its red or really swollen to go to the ER. He called me in some more pain medications. But it isn't red, and isn't more swollen than usually. I guess I'm just wondering is it normal to be in more pain later instead of the first few days? Any information would be appreciated.
