Hi everyone, I've been reading everyone's posts for a couple of weeks, but I'm just now ready to jump into the conversation. I have my surgery scheduled for June 26, and I'm really excited! The only thing I'm worried about is getting back to work. I am self employed, so I can set my own hours while recovering, but I do have clients to take care of. I know everyone is different, but I'd like to get some parameters from the veterans here. How soon were you able to concentrate for a couple of hours on the computer? Make some phone calls? Sit up for an hour or so in a meeting? Drive? Were your first couple of weeks hard because of lack of energy or pain? So funny I'm not concerned about the long term, just the short term getting up and around! Looking forward to meeting everyone and making some friends here on the boards!
