  1. I too had a 6 month program and was really thankful for it, giving me time to get myself where I needed to be mentally! I also used the time to learn what I could about Lapband do's and dont's!
  2. I was banded on Thursday-had to stay overnight because I had felt so sick after surgery. Since being home the days have ebbed and flowed. I found hot broth made me feel good, I could only eat(drink) about 3/4 cup, very slowly but really got me through. I have also gone on a couple walks a day, that tires me but also moves the gas around! Hopefully this helps- it will get better!
  3. I did two week pre-op diet, not full liquid but could only have 1 serv. of fruit, starch, and vegetable a day with Protein shakes. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my initial surgery date was rescheduled (there was some sort of scheduling snafu), then my second date (which was several days later) was cancelled as my surgeon had death in his family, so I had to do an additional 2 week pre -op diet. I lost about 20 lbs through all that!
  4. On Friday I start a week of 2 servings of smooth food - and can't wait to make a vegetable Soup that I can blend, I may have that in the morning.
  5. Just wondering about your energy level. I am just 6 days out of surgery and am finding it difficult to have energy throughout the day. Obviously on just liquids right now and it is a struggle for me to get all my Protein down.
