I confessed the other day to having taken an embarrassingly huge number of selfie pictures. While normally something teenagers are hounded about, I found myself snapping away because I am still shocked by how different I look. I am trying to get used to a new face. I don't recognize ME yet in this different version that is 66 lbs lighter. I can only imagine the changes after another 50 lbs! And then I thought.."I can't be the only one!" So...don't leave me hanging...revel a little in your new you look and show me your selfie!

I had surgery on Wednesday and went back to work on Monday. I had the gas pains and nausea. I was also very weak and tired. You can do it, for sure. As an aside. I had 2 csections and this surgery was a breeze compared to that.

You should celebrate! You look amazing!

Sometimes it just takes time for our body to adjust. It sounds like you are doing all the right things. I think you will see results coming soon!

My biggest loss was at the beginning then I averaged out to 1 lb/week loss...it is frustrating at times, but 9 months down the road and 66 lbs lighter I'm SO GLAD I didn't give up. You can do this!

Stress keeps you from losing weight too. I think if you just continue doing the right things the band will help you succeed. Like 2MF said...it's simple math...so relax and keep moving and you'll see the weight start to drop off.

Yes. Stress can tighten the band. Mine also tightens when I exercise and first thing in the morning...I'm glad you are back seeing a doctor. Sounds like you need to spend the next couple of months getting to know your band again. I'm glad everything is ok.
