That's what I'm also thinking is I need a permanent situation. I have started to read about all the revisions etc and that scares me to Death!

I was sure I was going to do the band but now that I have done more research I'm thinking the sleeve would be the way to go? Can some of you tell me why you choose the sleeve over band?

So psych put me on trazadone at night and Zoloft during day. Haven't discussed meeting the other psych for the evaluation for lap Band yet:( guess no one at kaiser will discuss it yet until anxiety under control

So today I saw the psychiatrist for my anxiety. Looks like I need to get that under control first. After 2-3 months then I will start psych evaluation and fry too move forward with lap band

I'll have to look into the magnesium. Where are you ladies from? I'm in ca and things are just getting worse and worse with crime. The dogs are so I feel safer in my home and the kids have to buddies:) yes we should start a anxiety and lap band group!! Hahahaha thank you do much everyone I love the support!

I'm hoping to get my anxiety under control I don't want my kids to not experience things just because I think the world is terrible! praying I can get approved so I can hd e my energy back to run around with my two boys. Also we are adopting in two great danes ! I'm going to need it!

So I recently decided to see psychiatrist for anxiety. I have a 1&2 yr old and ever since having them I hd e major anxiety about something bad happening to them. I don't let them out of my sight and I basically plan eveything out of something bad was to happen. Someone break in my house etc. I quickly realized this was extender and am seeking help. Now that I am seeking help with this my referral to bariatrics wasn't declined but says I need to see psychiatrist first . Anyone have any issues like that that stopped them from allowing you to get lap band??

Hi everyone!!! I emailed my PCP lady night and today she emailed me saying I sent a referral to Fremont bariatric center!!!! Does that mean I skip the 12 week options program I keep reading about??? I'd love to hear everyone's experience and how long it took to get a surgery date??

First does anyone have Kaiser that can tell me The process ? I emailed my dr regarding lap band and she sent a referral to the Bariatric surgery center in Fremont,ca. How long does this process from start to finish usually take? Also can someone explain the difference between realize and lapband. My weight is 235 I'm 5'4" with high cholesterol
