  2. Hi everyone! I just scheduled my surgery for April 8th! I just finished day 1 of my preop diet... oh mylanta... i feel like crap! BUT I have been trying to look at the big picture!... I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 20 years old (6 years ago). It has been an uphill battle. My husband and I have yet to have any successful pregnancy's. We are praying that the lap band is the answer we've been praying for. Anyone that can share their experience with PCOS and lap band... I would love to hear any stories or advice!! I am anticipating slower weight loss because of the PCOS, but also because I am just over the line to qualify for the surgery. Everyone I have talked to have said the more you have to loose, the faster you will loose it. Is this true? I am a very athletic person, who happened to be delt the lovely PCOS card in life... I am sick of feeling trapped inside of my own body! I am ready to be free =) <3 stay strong Jacqueline
