Got my first fill today also really wasnt bad at all can tell a difference. I am on liquids for 2 days then mushies for 2 days then solid on day 5

I could have went back to work but my surgeon doesnt recommend anything less then the 2 weeks but I have been fine only the first few days but after no problems. Weight not moving though and I am walking, but losing inches I guess since I can fit stuff. I am going to the dollar store buy a measurement tape since the scale has stopped moving. Keep me posted on how you are doing

Was banded 4/26 to down 7lbs since surgery. Seem to have been stuck at the same weight for the last week though. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing. Congrats

I was banded 4/26 also. Only took my pain meds the first 2 days after that not much pain just a little discomfort sometimes. Been able to get around and swallow just find. Keep doing good

Hello everyone. I was banded 4/26 its been 7 days now and i havent lost any weight. Havent gained any either just stayed at the exact same weight. Is it normal to not have lost anything. I mean I am following the diet havent cheated or anything not even eating a lot.

Me as well I was banded 4/26 only had to use my pain med 1 time for the first 2 days. Been able to walk and get around just fine. Been able to eat and drink just fine also only time I feel some discomfort is when I would turn on my side to sleep or move a certain way walking but other than that I have been ok. I still get this tightness in my stomach. I hope you all that are having pains feel better hang in there from what i have read it will get better.

Hello everyone. Just got banded this morning I am home. Not much pain at all just discomfort no tomorrow my be a different story. Can't seem to wake up all the way will fall back to sleep at the drop of a hat. Just wanted to update you all and say Thank You for the support

Hello All Getting banded tomorrow have to be at the hospital at 5:30am. Just cant believe its here finally. To all of you banded tomorrow i wish you the best and a painless as possible recovery. To those of you still waiting to be banded just be patient before you know it your surgery will be here. To those that have been banded already Thank You so much for your support and your words of encouragement.To all keep moving and best wishes

4/26/13 right around the corner. Been on this liquid diet must admit I messed up a little last night, but am back on track. Its just count down from this point lot of emotions going on. For the most part very excited to be joining those of you who have been banded already. Just ready to stop going up and down with my weight and walk up and down stairs in my home with out breathing heavy. Ready For A Good Change. yea i figure if you can get through the pre op the rest should be fine, but now I am like oh man it will be a long time before i can eat certain things any more. Then I think about the clothes in the attic that I will be able to fit.

First day not so bad yet any way. When people at my job had it smelling like chicken wings. lol How are you feeling about all this? We can keep in touch i think that would be good. I am new to this is there a way for us to like instant message or something?

Yea there is a possibility that I may not stay in the hospital my doctor said it depends on how I am doing but its possible that i can go home the same day. I have read other people that said they went home the same day so I guess it just depends

IVC filter put in today kind of sore but fine. Liquid diet starts 4/12/13 looking forward to count down.

Mine is on April 26. I have the exact same feelings I am ready to get it done but nervous too.
