Thank you for the reply. My fills have been using fluroscopy and no, he didn't use the non-coring needle. I won't know if the port was defective until it is removed, so that $800 bill will have to be paid upfront. I basically wanted to to see if there are other options. I'm still positive that the banding is the choice for me, it's just very discouraging having spent my savings on the procedure and now having to pay more to fix it. Again, thanks for the reply. Just an FYI. I'm not computer functional. I'm still trying to figure out how to make to the most of this very useful site. Thanks.

I was banded 11/06. My experience with the band is limited to say the least. I am having a problem and would appreciate someone elses insight. I found at my last visit that the port is leaking. Has anyone else had this problem? Having had to pay cash for the procedure in the first place, I'm somewhat annoyed that it will cost me thousands more to replace the port. Information appreciated.:cry I also am not fluent with computer language and new to this part of it. Any help/information is welcome. Thanks.
