  1. Soon. And then try zucchini spaghetti instead of "sticky" noodles. I bought a spiralizer and make my own zucchini noodles and it's such a win!
  2. I got my 4 th fill on Thursday, it's been 6 months. I haven't lost ant weight in 3 months. The doctor said there wasn't much "pressure" when he inserted the syringe. He put in 1 cc. Since then, I have only been able to very slowly take in clear broth, vitamin water zero (took me almost an hour to keep down 16+ oz). I tried a smoothie this morning and its taken me almost an hour and a half to take in 16 oz. I threw up soft tofu last night, and have a lot of hiccups and PB, but no reflux and I slept ok. It was clear that I needed a fill, no wt loss, I could eat almost normally, but will this fill "loosen"? Do I just have to wait it out or do I need to go in on Monday and get some removed?
  3. Thank you for this post. I had to travel and had to improvise for some meals. Slightly chunky soup, really small pieces of a little piece of chicken. Lots of water and liquids. I'm not quite 2 weeks out from surgery and was wondering if I screwed up my stomach or made a problem with the band healing etc.

  5. Thank you all so much for the helpful words and encouragement! I've got to keep my eye on the end goals here. It's good to hear it gets better. Thank you.
  6. It's been 5 days since surgery and I thought I was sooooo prepared. But I still hurt on all my incisions. I hurt to walk, I hurt to cough, I hurt to spit out toothpaste for crying out loud. I'm 55 yrs old, and I think this might be my body telling me I don't heal as fast as I did when I was younger. But I've already missed 5 days of work and I don't feel any stronger. Since I paid a lot of money myself to do this, I find myself very down about the decision and wishing I hadn't done it. How stupid am I to pay good money to feel so bad! And then to maybe jeopardize my job?.
