    How are you?

Banded on 2/27. Down 34 lbs and have gone from a size 22/24 to an 18. I have had two fills, both 1cc each in a size 10cc band. My doc says that I will have another fill of 1cc at the end of this month and then they will reduce each fill to .5ccs. I have been stuck at 34 lbs for the past 3 weeks or so. I am trying to hit 240 by the end of this month. Currently at 252. I definitely haven't been working out as consistently as I would like to because of my wok schedule and two kiddos but am going to start making it a priority. Hopefully that will help get me over this hump. How is everyone else doing?!
  2. Hi there! Almost a week post op and returned to work today. It was good to be out of the house and feeling back to somewhat normal. I am already 20lbs down and people at work already noticed which was pretty cool. One thing I wanted to ask you all was, I notice that every time I "eat" ( I am still on liquids) I get an awful pain in my left side that radiates to my back. It's so painful that I usually need to lie down for a good hour before it goes away. I have tried walking and stretching and nothing seems to help aside from laying down. This happens every time I have anything - Water, smoothie, Protein Shake, anything. Have any of you experienced that in your journeys? Thanks!
  3. Thanks you guys. I will try all suggested!! Appreciate the advice!
  4. Feeling really sore. I tried not to take any pain meds but that was a dumb idea. I have been needing 10mg of oxycodone every 4 hours on the dot. Been walking as much as I can. The most painful is my left side. Anyone else experience that. It feels like a really bad side ache like after you run. Trying to keep up with my fluids. It's hard to tell though when I'm drinking if the pressure I feel is my stomach getting full or if it is still gas. Anyway all in all not too bad and have already dropped 4 lbs since yesterday. I think it is mostly fluids but still!!
  5. My doctor did clear me to take ibuprofen. I know they restricted me to just Tylenol before surgery. I called and asked if I could try ibuprofen instead of the oxy to see if that works better and may avoid constipation and the doctor said that was totally fine. So I will give it a shot.
  6. Completely excited and scared. Just had my pre-op appointment with my doctor - cannot believe that it is happening in two days. Started liquid diet today. Going in: 277 lbs 5'4 Goal weight: 135 Fingers crossed that everything goes well!!
