  2. Don't feel bad I did the same thing. I was still able to get banded. That fact that you lose weight during the pre op diet is a sign it is working. You will be fine. Good luck on your surgery.
  3. I to have lost and gained two times in my life 80 pound the first time and 60 the second and never had any loose skin to me the trick is ensuring that you do weight training while you are losing weight. However I am the type of person who if I gain weight it is distributed all over my body and not mainly in one spot. Also lots of water helps with elasticity in the skin along with vitamins and skin firming lotions.
  4. Not sure what to say on this one. I noticed a lot of people on thi site talk about there port being in there abdomen. I am 4 days post op and my doc placed mine over my left breast.

  6. I got banded31 Jan I am having the same issue along with gas like pains. It is a little nerve racking and confusing. Hang in there...I am
  7. I got mine done on 31 Jan and I was 238 and 226 after pre op diet now I am 222. I am 5'3. The first person to post was right. It is up to you. I didn't tell anyone for that very reason. I have never been this large until after children. I feel like I and a little woman inside a big body that does not belong to me. This is why I did it, to feel good about myself. You have a couple more days think on it and do what is best for you.
  8. Hi Florida Sunshine. I'm a new bandster as well my surgery was on the 31 of Jan. I am still feeling pain. No brusing but having a lot of stomache bubbles which uncomfortable enough in it self how is your diet going?
  9. Hello all. I started my journey for the lapband on 16 January 2012 with a pre op appointment and weigh-in at 238.8. After my two week Protein sugar busters diet I weighed 226 on surgery day 31 January 2013. Today is post op day#3 and I currently weigh 220. I got my surgery done through Palmyra Surgical in Macon Ga. And so far aside from not being able to eat real food and the pain I am doing well and happy with the procedure. Pre-op weight: 238.8 After two week diet: 226 Current weight: 220 Goal weight: 140 Pounds to go: 80
