Congrats I am April 23

I am scheduled for April 23 . I was supposed to be sleeved on March 5 but it was pushed back to April 23. After weeks of research I called my surgeon today and told them I wanted the band instead .

I also have BCBS of CT and everything is covered for me also

I am scheduled for sleeve surgery on April 25 but over the past 2 weeks I have been leaning towards the band. I am 5 2 and 200 pounds . I would be truly happy if I can get to 140 or 150 .

I am planning on taking 4 or 5 weeks off. I also have short term disability . I have to use 3 days off sick time and the rest is covered 100% so I am planning on using my time to heal properly and get use to the sleeve.

I little pissed right now . I had to push my surgery from March 5 to April 22!!!!! They gave me a date of March 5 I get my approval it says March 19 . My daughters Jr Prom is March 22. I can not risk not being able to help her.

I was approved in less than 48 hours . It will be less than 2 months from the time I walked into a seminar til my surgery!!!!!!
