I went in to see PS dr on may 9th with the point of having tummy tuck and breast lift bat wing surgery after I get the $$ 14 k worth of money.. I went in and found he wont cut on me just lipo for belly thighs and arms and then a breast lift he will do, he called it a vertical something breast lift. Still 14k but instead of tummy and boobs its 14k for tummy boobs butt and thighs I still have to save up the $ and I have 50 pounds til goal so he may change his mind on tt by then (hope not) I thinkit really depends on the persons jeans, and skin elastic.

I bought a bike a month before I was banded, a Old time cruiser no gears just a plain jane lovely cherry red and chrome bike. I love it! I rode my bike 5 days after banding 1 mile in the am and 1 in the pm taking the kids to school. I also had a recumbant bike that folded up into a cross trainer, I didnt use it that much and got rid of it. (no room) In the summer I make it part of my workout I walk, ride, Skate, and swim. The hubby and I have been thinking rejoining golds gym, but it's a 20 mile drive and gas is high high high!

Today I had a Dr. consult regarding Plastic surgery, when the Dr. started talking about lipo on my tummy, I asked how does that work around my port area? He asked me when I was having it removed...I think I stood there shocked because I didn't realize you could do that. I know I've herad of someone getting a smaller port put in after she lost weight it buldged out on her. Is getting the port out once at goal an option? I told my Dr. I'd have my port forever unless it got infected or something. So he said okay I'll have to be really careful and not go in that area..But thats where it seems to be poking out the most. So I dont want this flat belly with a ball of fat around my port. I know thats hopefully not what it will look like but you know mental picture thats what I got lol.

If so, what area of your body? How much did it cost? How long did you wear that body garment thing? Do you like the results?

okies, went in today filled out some paperwork talked to the nurse about what I wanted / what I expected etc. Met the Dr. he seems like a nice guy, much more chatty than my band Dr lol. Anyhoo, he looked at me said he wouldn't do a Mini tummy tuck on me! Said I didn't need it and he wouldn't scar me over it. He did say Lipo in tummy upper tummy trunk (thighs) and my arms instead of the arm surgery. He said Arm hanging fat is hard to get off after Weight loss and I was so young and my skin still has alot of tone in it that I should be fine w/ alot of lipo lol and wearing a supresion garment for 2 weeks. About my breast he said to wait until after the lipo to get my breasts done and a basic breast lift would be great for me and it would take me down a size DDD to DD which is fine w/ me On my donation site the goal was set to 12k the est given today was 14k for it all. So that pretty darn near what I first est. I've already received on 10.00 donation and have made almost 35.00 in ad clicks , So I'll at the ad click money to the donation pot once they send out a check. So long story short I went expecting pricing on a tummy tuck and breast lift est 12k, and left with the est. for a basicly full body lipo and breast lift 14k. I guess I am happy he didnt think I needed a tummy tuck, I'm not big on scars. I was really hopeful when he said my arms shouldn't need surgery just lipo, cause to me they are the worst grossest thing on me Anyhoo now I have to go re-type my website and tell people what I just told you! basicly the $ still goes to my body make over just not cutting on 3 area I orig. thought. Thanks for caring guys~ I was really nervous this morning. My mom is now nervous I guess its that "My baby wants surgery, and she had her consult" mama fear lol. Anyways Thanks for your thoughts! Today is my plastic surgery consult! I'm getting ready now, gotta be there at 11:45 will let you know how it went asap. Im excited and nervous! tomorrow I have my band Dr apt. going ing to get a fill~ so lots of traveling this week lol.

I took my belt to class last night and they told me not to sell it for less than 75.00 Ive seen belts go for up to 300.00 I guess I'll just sit on it a bit and think about since noone had any thoughts on it lol

Thanks guys! I did get a call from the school today asking if we had the paperwork from Eden park old school they are seeing what all the options are. I told them yes I asked for a copy of the report card but its blank! no grade listed! I'm so upset, I know she told me on phone it was blank but I really did not expect a school to mail me a blank report card! they have to have records right? apparently not! Arrrg!

Because I knew Sweet treats were not my issue I never abused them in eatting habbits. So why have a surgery that cuts my stomach up and that scares the all heck out of me in itself, but also from what Ive heard from people who have the bypass sweets make them sick. My issue was not proper eatting. One fatty meal a day sometimes. I wanted "Help" loosing weight not something that could make me really sick and possibly too skinny and not healthy. I love my band!

Heya, I just finished my first tribal belt! Its so pretty and loads of people have given compliments on it. It is too big for me though and I'm going to sell it...My prob. is as the maker you always see what could have been better not what turned out great. Do any of ya'll have some good links for 5th / 6th grade? Next Tues. I'm going to talk to some people at my Fighter pratice we go to every Tues. night. There are a bunch of kids there that are Home Schooled.

I did the William Bennett k-12 program w/ them before they were very neat didn't charge a thing and even sent them a Compaq computer with color printer and ALL of the school supplies including art and music and some very cool science equipment! when we quit all we had to return was the computer/ printer the let us keep everything! I don't think it's free here anymore, a test thing maybe. I do know it was very good she was in 1st grade and knew all the oceans and continents and what animal came from each and was doing well in reading until the charter school they attended. what kind of prob. do you have if food portion isnt the prob.? I know that sounds bad wording but lol Im not being snippy I promise. I ask because I didnt have portion control issues either. I would only eat 1 maybe sometime 2 "meal" a day because I was always running around. I tried making myself eat the 3 meals and even 6 small meals and I gained doing it... So I dunno. now Im not going to lie the one meal I had wasnt good for me I scarfed it down in a hurry and it was full of fatty stuff. What I do know is in "MY" exp with the band is now that I am banded I do eat 3 small meals a day and I do lose weight. It was like my body was in starvation mode and the band said "hey its okay, you ate we can let the fat go" lol I say if the band is what you want talk to your Surgery Dr and dont worry about what anyother Dr says. My Dr asked me why I wanted the band over bypass and I was honest w/ him and I got the band Best of luck and dont give up!
