  3. Hello all. Newbe here. I am from Michigan. Banded Nov. 14, 2006 at Hurley by Dr Farhan. So far it has been a great journey. I am down 40lbs without any fills. A little bit about myself. I am 59 years old, single, I have 3 children, 6 grandchildren. My grandchildren are my "hobbies" and the reason I had lapband surgery. I love doing things with them and my weight was making it difficult to keep up with them. I have seen a couple of other lapband sites but this one is really interesting the way its set up. Hope to help others on their journey and also get help when I need it. Good luck to all.
