  1. Thanks smiley I never thought of the risk at the time!! Everything went great and the best news is that I had only rented the machine as I had my lapband surgery shortly after I started using the CPAP so I was hoping not to need the machine for long. Fortunately for me, it has been 2 months and I no longer have sleep apnea and have been able to return the dreaded machine to the company! I cnsidered the savings of not having to buy an expensive CPAP as jusstification for spending the money on the lap band. Worked out well by my books! Take care Sharebarre
  2. Hi. I packed my cpap machine in my checked luggage so I didn't have to carry it. No problem anywheres except in Puerto Vallarta on my return home where they do a hand search of all your checked bags. They had to take it all out and have a good look. Everything was fine, just hard to get it all packed back into my overstuffed suitcase!!! Sharebarre
  3. Hi. I am a newly banded member. I was banded in Surrey by Dr. W. Leung on Jan 26, 2007.I first contacted his office in September, 06. Required a referral from my GP, saw Leung in October 06 and was able to get all my tests done and surgery in Jan07. Total cost was 12812.50. This included hospital stay. Fills are included. I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Leung. An excellent surgeon, and his office person Evelyn is fantastic. Never had to wait in his office, and very responsive to any questions I have had. Good luck on your info search
