  1. I have no idea what snitching is. Darn autocorrect!
  2. I have bcbs il ppo and I had to have all the usual test but not a required 6 month follow up or snitching. My doc did have me do 2 visits with the nutritionist. My insurance papers will be submitted directly after. They said I'd then get my surgery date. It's been maybe 1 1/2 month since I attended the first info session.
  3. I'm really hoping for march as well. Since that's spring break.
  4. I have bcbsil as well it looks like I don't have the required six months but my office is pretty serious it looks like about me hitting done "mind" nutritional goals and showing I can eat healthy.
  5. Welcome aboard and please keep us posted on your journey!
  6. Thank you for replying MIllyBel. That actually makes a lot of sense to me!
  7. Thanks @jgriffith0726 Thanks for the tips, this is going to sound crazy but I have a horrid fear of constipation, lol. So thank you for the heads up and the advice about the OJ. Take Care!! -J
  8. Hi All! I am currently pre op and I have been asked to take 325mg of Iron 2 to 3 times per day. Is anyone else taking this high of an amount of iron? Thanks!
  9. Congratulations! Keep us posted, hoping that everything goes well!
  10. Thanks for the encouragement, and I 'll definitely keep you posted!
  11. It's funny that you bring this up, because I have a blog that I have a few subscribers to. Some I know and some I do. I've been fighting myself for the last week because I've password protected my post about RNY. I'm scared to death that someone I know will see it and then tell everybody else. But I don't feel like i should HAVE to ashamed or anything. I'm just not sure that this early in the game I can deal or want to deal with that kind of discouragement. If you guys would like to check it out its: plussizerunner.wordpress.com The password is just: 30 Best Wishes on everyones journeys!
  12. It's so interesting the round of emotions that go around just with these first sets of appointments. I've been consumed with researching the procedure i would like.
  13. Yes I had the same sentiments. I want what they refer to as the hold standard, plus the thought of slippage and erosion really freak me out. I will say I'm having a harder time deciding on the RNY over the sleeve. The though of following the supplement regime is a bit daunting.
  14. Hi I'm wondering where was this taken from your groups policy or from the bariatric medical policy if do can you tell me which page? Thanks!
