  1. you should be fine taking your thyroid medication,I had no trouble. I know how co-workers and family/friends can be so i was very selective in who I told about my lap band. Dont entertain stupity! Good luck to you!
  2. I had my band placed of December 3, 2012 and honestly I'm just starting to feel better. Hand in there, it will get better.
  3. Thank you, I have started walking on my treadmill for about 30 mins daily, but will try so breathing exercises. also I have started a food diary to keep up with my calorie intake, still working on getting all the protein in that I need. thanks for the advice.
  4. Hello everyone, my name is Decarla and I recently had lap-band surgery on 12/3/2012. My starting weight was 295, day of surgery was 284 and as of yesterday I weigh 277. So far things are going ok, still some pain mostly at my port incision site, otherwise going good
  5. usually doctor will tell you to be on liquid diet between 24-48 hours.
