you should be fine taking your thyroid medication,I had no trouble. I know how co-workers and family/friends can be so i was very selective in who I told about my lap band. Dont entertain stupity! Good luck to you!

I had my band placed of December 3, 2012 and honestly I'm just starting to feel better. Hand in there, it will get better.

Hello everyone, my name is Decarla and I recently had lap-band surgery on 12/3/2012. My starting weight was 295, day of surgery was 284 and as of yesterday I weigh 277. So far things are going ok, still some pain mostly at my port incision site, otherwise going good

Thank you, I have started walking on my treadmill for about 30 mins daily, but will try so breathing exercises. also I have started a food diary to keep up with my calorie intake, still working on getting all the protein in that I need. thanks for the advice. -
usually doctor will tell you to be on liquid diet between 24-48 hours.
