  1. Thanks! I have actually been feeling much better today and haven't felt weak yet. I rested all day yesterday. 1 Week today is my surgery!
  2. I am on a pre op diet for 2 weeks, just wrapping up week 1. I am so weak, no energy and at times feel like I am going to pass out. I can eat 3 meals per day that consist of a Protien and some veggies. No fruit, nuts, dairy or sugar! I can hardly stand to get off the couch - forget about exercise!! Anyone else experiencing this?
  3. I have made a personal choice not to tell anyone other than my husband of course. I don't discuss my weight problem seriously with many people and feel that it is something that I want to keep private for now. There are some things in life that I am willing to share with friends and co workers and others that I want to keep to myself. As time goes on who knows what will change however I am living in my moment of today.
  4. My date is Jan 28th to be banded. I have been freaking out lately wondering if I should cancel. Glad to report that today was a good day and I am feeling less stressed!
  5. You look amazing! It was a relief for me to see that someone else thought about cancelling their surgery. I am on Jan 28th and I am losing my mind over it.
  6. Watched all the videos. Thanks for posting, it was informative!
  7. I have only tried Whey Protein +, so far I don't like how I have made it. I am going to see what my nutritionist recommends for what is available in my area as well.
  8. I went for my pre op tests yesterday. Not a problem and went fairly well. I had to have blood work and an ECG done. Started getting some things prepared today for after surgery. Next is my pre op appointment and I am closer everyday to the 28th!
  9. Thanks! I have been using the same firming lotion alternating with an oil each day.
  10. My date is Jan 28th. I go from being super excited to extremely nervous! Right now I still feel like I have to eat everything I won't be able to eat later. My pre op diet starts Monday and I am dreading it! As all other diets I have failed with I am not so sure I can handle this one for 3 weeks without cheating. I'm on a really bad chocolate binge right now...ugh.
  11. Is anyone or has anyone prepped any potential problem skin areas that may have excess skin afterwards? Any advice ahead of time on this? I think my stomach is going to have some excess skin.
  12. I am also scheduled on the 28th! I have to have some pre op blood work done and an ECG. From what I have been told it is routine blood work and the ECG measures your heart activity.
  13. Thanks, I was feeling panicked over it!
  14. I was given my pre op diet today. It is a very strict food diet for 3 weeks. I thought that I would have to do a liquid diet.
  15. I am scheduled for Jan 28th! I haven't been told anything yet about a liquid diet however I am now anticipating one after reading numerous posts!I have my pre op appt on Jan 14th, I suspect I will get it then and have 2 weeks to battle.
  16. I feel like I need to run out and eat everything that I won't be able to eat when I am banded. How pathetic is that! Worse is that I started doing it and gained a few more pounds... Ugh!
  17. Any advice to prepare myself or my skin?
  18. I am scheduled to be banded Jan 28th. Very excited and a little nervous to be honest. Pre op appointment in a few weeks.
