  1. I was banded 11/16 and hurt for almost 3 weeks. They fixed a hernia I didn't know about, and have had several other surgeries also. Lots of scar tissue in there so it takes a bit longer. As I was told, sip sip sip and walk walk walk and lots of gas-x strips. Don't be too hard on yourself. You can do this!
  2. Whew... am I ever so proud to read its not just me! I am seriously in the #notsoladylike boat with y'all! Loud and proud! My 85 year old aunt explained it like this; top or bottom, there's always more room on the outside! Gotta love her! Congrats everyone!

  4. Sorry.. premature send button.. lol I too was banded on the 16th and down 32 from the start of liquids. Love the weight loss and learning how to use this tool! One question I do have for everyone is can you feel your port? Mine is still very prominent and feels like some liquid is around it. Anyone else? Congrats to everyone!
  5. I am uncomfortable still but I think liquids for 24 sounds like a great idea! Just proud to know that maybe im not stuck as I was really wondering how in the world could I get stuck on that! Ha.
  6. Its part of my mushies, but im only day two so maybe it was too soon! Great. My luck ... ha. Thanks!
  7. Hi all! I am 11 days post opt and not sure if im stuck or possibly stretched the pouch. I ate a small helping of mushed chicken and broth and a few bites of avocado for lunch. Now I am swollen at incision and really hurting in my middle back. Is this what stuck feels like? Don't think I hate too fast but some habits are still the norm... lol. Thanks for any advice! Y'all are awesome inspiration!
  8. I was banded on the 16th and had a hernia repair (that I had no idea I had!). My back is very sore still too. I have found that some easy stretches help alleviate it some though. My question is, how long does it take to feel really normal body wise when a hernia is involved?
  9. Congrats to you as well Banditiff! Keep us posted!
  10. I too get my band the 16th! Counting down the days now! My two week liquid diet has gotten tough all of the sudden. Im not really hungry, but bored I guess. Lol. Congrats everyone!
