Omg I cant believe that on Monday Im getting banded! Im a nervous wreck right now being on this pre op diet and just thinking about everything. I live in Tucson, Az and Im traveling to Phoenix to get it done. Im debating on if we should get a hotel after my surgery or head back and drive 90 mins. Am I going to be really uncomfortable in the car? Any advice?

So they called me today and told me Im getting banded on June 24th!! I cant believe its going to happen. Its becoming a reality knowing that I will have a new life and lifestyle. Anyone else getting banded that day?? Wish me luck and prayers!!

My appointments went great! My surgeon did the EGD and before he put me under he told me that we will probably schedule the LPS in 2-3 weeks! I go in fir my preop this Thursday May 30th. Im soooo excited and nervous because its getting closer.

Omg my pre op appt is this Thursday. I will find out the exact day for my surgery. I did my EGD and Psych last week and my surgeon said probably 2-3 weeks for my surgery. Im soooo excited for the new healthy me!!

OMG I made a mistake, my surgeon is Dr Orris with Weight Loss Institute.

Im in Tucson Az and Dr Debarros is my surgeon. I have my preop appointment on 5/30. I hope he tells me when my surgery will be! Thank you all for responding!!

So Im having my psych and Egd done on May 24th and Im really nervous about it. Is it going to hurt? Is the actual lapband surgery scheduled soon after that? Any banders in Arizona??

So they scheduled my psych eval and EGD on the same day 5/24. Im a little scared on the EGD. Do they put you to sleep for that? Will it hurt after? So nervous because Im that much closer to having my surgery.

Im new here and have almost completed my 6 months and already have my pre op appointment with lap band surgeon on May 30, 2013. Does anybody know how long after surgery is scheduled. Just getting a little anxious. Im just so excited for this new journey.
