First Fill Discomfort
I've just received my first fill. Doc put 4 cc at surgery & put .5 cc as my first fill. I asked him to go easy because i didnt want the chance of being overly tight when i know he & staff will be off for the thanksgiving holiday. I've lost 15lbs since surgery a little less than four weeks ago. My question is... My port area is still giving my discomfort, even more since I was filled. Is this normal? Seems like the port sits right where I bend. I can't seem to get comfortable, good thing I can where dresses because wearing pants just kills me!!

Unsupportive Wife
I have chosen to do this surgery by myself as well. I didn't need anyone's encouragement or advice. I don't feel I'd get the reaction that would make me happy so I just don't tell!! My secret, I'm taking it to my grave !! And I feel wonderful 10 days postop!

Care And Feeding Of Lap Band Opinions
I enjoy learning & reading everyone's posts & advice. I absolutely love when I get slapped upside the head with the truth!! I wouldn't be in this situation if I had that level of honesty to begin with!! I feel you should shout your accomplishments from the mountaintops & I hope to be joining you at the top soon

Why In The World Did I Let It Get This Bad
- October 2012 Bandsters
Hi Kitty. I would love to continue to hear of your progress.- October 2012 Bandsters
I've done it. Officially banded on the 25th. I seem to be having many of the same issues everyone else is. These forums are great! I love talking with fellow bandsters, feel like they can relate. I could get kuddos one sec & a smack up the head the next! Feels like home I pray everyone continues on this successful journey.- Post Op Survival Kit
