  4. I found it online but it costs to much for me.
  5. I'm getting my sleeve on Dec 3rd does anyone have any tips or tricks for me? I'm getting nervous and super excited!
  6. Everyone is talking about Alexian here, but my surgery is at Good Shepard. Id love someone that's been through this to visit the hospital. I hear that the first days or so are bad.
  7. Does anyone know of a good App? I'm looking for something that will track my weight along with my measurements. If it would be able to take pictures too that's a plus. Im not really looking for a food tracker and that's all I seem to find.
  8. Surgery is Dec 3rd. I've been trying to decide who I was going to tell my surgery to. I just told my Facebook people which is family, friends and high school people. I decided to tell people because it's a major life change and I want to share my loss with them. Who is everyone telling? And any negative feedback from people?
  9. My date is Dec 3rd. I'm so afraid and excited. I wish I could just get this over with. I'm mostly afraid of the pain after the surgery which is crazy because I had twins with no epideral. I'm also worried of extra skin, I have about 100lbs to loose. Then again I'm so excited that I can work out and play with my kids without being out of breath. I feel like I'm going to chicken out sometimes. I feel overwhelmed sometimes. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way.
  10. Hi I'm getting sleeved on Dec 3rd at Good Shepard Hospital in Barrington. Anyone else in that area?
  11. I'm from Fox Lake area getting my sleeve at Good Shepard Hospital on Dec 3rd.
  12. My family is 1/2 supportive. I have my hubby, mom and grandmother pro sleeve, and everyone else con. What's funny is the first people to point out I'm fat all the time are the people against me getting the surgery. I have 21 days till I get it done. Its at Good Shepard Hospital in Barrington, IL. I'm 31, about 247lbs and 5'8". I also have three kids, ages 2,2, and 1. I would like to blame them for my weight gain but it's my fault. I'd like to be 155lbs. I'm starting to get really nervous about Dec 3rd. I'm worried that it will hurt, that I'll have all this extra skin and what if I get this done and it doesnt work. I'm glad I found this so I can read what others are posting so I don't feel so alone.
  13. I keep seeing everyone talk about a pre-op diet. I wasn't told I had to do this. My meeting with the nutritionist and my final meeting with the surgeon is on the 29th and my surgery is on the 3rd that's only 5 days. Was anyone else not told about a pre-op diet?
  14. I have a date of Dec 3rd. Finally appointment with Dr. Is on Nov. 29th.
