  1. I had my band put in on March 2nd of this year and am down about 50lbs, 25lbs away from my goal. I have been reading all the threads on here about slipped bands. I found out yesterday that my band had slipped they took all of the saline out and put me on liquids. I have to go back to the dr in a week for another X-ray to see if it corrected but after reading on here I am so scared that it won't correct or they will say they have to take the band out. I cried and cried as they unfilled my band yesterday because I'm so scared of the weight coming back on and feeling/looking like a failure. Has anyone ever had a slipped band correct itself and didn't have it slip again?? I was a self pay and I'm really feeling like I may have wasted all that money if they have to take the band out The nurse told me that once the band slips that there is a good chance it will slip again I'm so scared and worried
