  1. I am suffering every night with GERD. I am trying everything possible to not have my band removed. I follow all the rules, take nexium and Zantac, stop eating as early as 4 some days, no caffein, milk, chocolate, spices etc. I take honey and apple juice. I haven't slept more then 3 hours in the last year. I reguritate all night long. I have had an upper GI and they found I have a hiatle hernia. All my surgeon says is we'll have to remove the band. It's looking that way to me too. I know the weight will come back and all the medical problems I had before surgery. I've had the band for 2 years and have never been able to keep a fill in so my band is totally empty too. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me? I want my life back without throwing up every night.
