  1. Wish I could, they are not available until Monday
  2. Yesterday my band got tight, like hard time drinking water tight. I had some tea and was fine, but later in the day as soon as I ate something I have aching under my left rib. Feels like a side ache under my rib and it only hurts after I have eaten something. Should I be worried? I can eat, drink normal, I just get this pain and an ache in my back directly behind when it hurts in the front.
  3. I have been a little constipated lately, is that normal? I will hit my 4 week mark in a few days.
  4. Thank you for the encouragement. As far as "testing" my band...I ate some meat, had a little ice cream and the other day I had chips and salsa. I am on purée but I really don't purée, I just chew it well. I really feel like I don't even have the band. I have no restriction, no gas, no pain (except my port incision) and haven't even felt nausea. I guess I have not been extreme but I am an all or nothing type person so if I make a mistake it is over and I have failed. I love this site because it helps me realize that I need to take it one day at a time and never give up.
  5. I don't know what is wrong with me. I am 9 days post op and I am already testing my band limits. I am so upset with myself. I feel like I have no idea what I am doing. It's like I can't stand not to already give up on myself and self sabotage. I have lost 17lbs in 3 weeks and it doesn't even register.
  6. What tips can you give some of the newly bandsters? What do you eat? Do you workout/how often/what do you do?
  7. Southtowne surgical center since I am self pay
  8. Thank you! It is so nice not to feel alone and to have such amazing support:-)
  9. It is the chemical content that is the problem. They want me to wait a week. I am on liquid loritab, but it just doesn't get rid of the migraine. I shouldn't complain too much since I do not have any gas pains at all. I think being so hungry is making me feel moody and I really can't get comfortable.
  10. I was banded yesterday and everything went great with the surgery. However, I suffer from migraines and told I can't take my medication. I have had a killer migraine for two days, lots of pain at my incisions and I am Starving! Does it get better? Did I just make a huge mistake?!
  11. Will be banded 10/4...in UT...looking for support:)
  12. In pre-op phase. Just counting the days to surgery.
