  1. Since you didn't sign anything I don't see how he can legally require you too pay anything. If he were to sue you, a judge would want to see a signed agreement which he doesn't have so I would remind him of that if he starts to threaten you. Good luck.
  2. I'm so sorry this happened to you! Be well and thanks for the advice.
  3. Nothing more encouraging than when you get "noticed" Yea!
  4. Without insurance coverage and a not so good credit score I despaired of getting any financial help. A friend advised me to give United Medical credit http://www.unitedmedicalcredit.com a try which I did and was thrilled to be approved. Down 50lbs and counting...
  5. Enjoy the compliments. It's days like this that make the whole process worth it. So happy for you!
  6. Yea! Hope you have a speedy recovery and tons of success on your journey.
  7. I agree. Ignore the "posers" , they're always around no matter which gym you go to. Ask the people who work there for a little advice and you'll feel confident in no time. Good luck.
  8. LOL! Did exactly the same thing. A hard lesson learned.
  9. You're on the right track and should be so proud of yourself.
  10. The best luck in the world to you sony! Feel well and keep checking this site for advice and encouragement. It works for me.
  11. I agree with all who say a patient should be informed, especially if a doctor is asked a specific question. But, hey your brother has lost 270lbs so whatever his doctors customs are, it's working! Many congratulations to your brother.
  12. I think some of you guys are being a little too harsh with Liz1531. Reading her post, she is obviously very unhappy and frustrated after 5 years into her lap band surgery. I have recently began to look into lap band surgery and want to read all the negative as well as positive information I can find. So, thank you Liz and hope that you find a solution to your problem.
  13. Gotbeach74. After being denied from a couple of medical finance companies because of shaky credit my friend got her loan. http://www.unitedmedicalcredit.com/
  14. I would keep appealing until you run out of options. My work insurance didn't cover my surgery so I went with United Medical Credit. They were helpful and found me a payment plan i could work with. I do hope you get your insurance coverage but if not have a look at their site. http://www.unitedmedicalcredit.com/ Thinking of you and wishing all the best.: )
  15. This has happened to me too.If men are unhappy in a marriage, Why oh why don't they sit us down and tell us they want out before they cheat??? It would hurt yes, but finding out that your husband is cheating on you hurts a hell of a lot more. I'm not sure if he is still in the home but if he is, and this may sound extreme but, make him move out for a year or until he has proved to you that he is serious about wanting to make it work. You will know in your heart if he means it. Good Luck to you.
  16. I guess we all have our little addictions. I beat my withdrawal from caffeine headaches by going 1/2 caffe for a week then using less and less caffeine. I drink caffeine free drinks now and don't taste the difference. I don't drink soda but I feel for you. It's all part of the "New Lifestyle" and the end product is worth every sacrifice. Good luck.
  17. I was going to use my credit cards too but decided to go with united Medical credit and save my credit cards for other non medical use. I have good credit and employment history and found their interest rates are pretty competitive. If you decide to go that way have a look. http://www.unitedmedicalcredit.com/ Good luck on your journey.
  18. Thank you for posting your success story. You are an inspiration to us all.
  19. That's just awesome!!! Many congrats and feel better soon. I'm jumping up and down for you too. ))

  23. Hello Jules99. My friend was approved for a loan at http://www.unitedmedicalcredit.com/. I don't know your circumstances but they were very understanding about her less than perfect credit history and short employment record. Good luck!
