My Dr advised no drinking the first six weeks and suggests no alcohol at all due to empty calories and carbonation in beer and champagne but didn't say its banned all together.. I'd ask your Dr directly about this though!

I've been losing 5lbs a week I work out everyday 2 hours a day and have a 1000 calorie intake which is hard to even I'm lucky to get 800 a day but I make sure I get 70 grams if protein a day which comes from my shakes.. Like everyone said each person is different and a loss is a loss.. I'd be happy losing 2lbs a week..

Did anyone go in for there first fill and not get a fill?? My nurse told me that I have 3cc residual fluids in my band from surgery already and I was 4 weeks post OP down 25lbs not hungry at all with good when I do eat. still a little nervous eating solid foods so I do protein shakes , fish, Greek yogurt and egg whites with salsa most days .. I'm sure this is completely normal just wanting to see if anyone else had this experience...

Its definitely a different pain then my infusion pains and I'm a little weazy no hernia repairs.. I'm going to call my Dr just to be safe!

And no I didn't get a spirometer

Thats what I was wondering if u can get pneumonia from surgery this fast? I've never had this feeling in my lungs..

I was banded Tuesday and my lungs are killing me and I'm coughing up phlem is this normal?
