  1. all body discomfort is not bsnd related up so many of us jump to that first...it is that time of year for illness so we should think normally first....its just a band
  2. banded Aug 240 at the time now 212 but been stuck for over a week eating 800-1000 cal hope its just adjusting at least I haven't gotten up
  3. just over half usually does it for most people on here, some can do it with very little in the bsand for a long time. 10cc band here with 6.5cc in it and that feels good for me,maybe just a bit more soon. Keep up on the fills and don't fight with the band not feeling hungry for 4-5 is the goal anything less check into a fill...my doctor said every 2 wks until green zone.
  4. This is a very hard time very hard..u r right not to go around food at this time...one day soon you will be able and you mind will tell you, you don't want it. Meanwhile you might want to talk to your regular doctor about anti-depression meds because this is going to be a long road and a new life. Keep up with the fills that really helps the mind and that is what the band targets so stay on it. I had to learn not to breath with my nose in places because thst would trigger me now 3 mos later I am much better. You can do this stay strong keep reading on here and keep writing we will help you as much as possible.. we are all with you
  5. change the bandage and check it in the am...
  6. protein does keep me fuller longer so I watch that closly and we need protein to burn off our calories. I also count caliores to be sure I don't over eat specialy if I have something different like 100 cal cookies . myfitnesdsdpal.com count everything so I stay in the range of everything...
  7. I had 4cc put in now I have 6.5cc after 3 fills the fills are so important so keep them up. what they put in already wont really do anything right away its just a base.
  8. call your insurance company the number on the back of the card they will tell you how they do it... I am sure there are a lot of people ahead of you for all sorts of things but you might get them to push them a little.
  9. be careful the first thing zI thought of after reading your post is you want the Christmas goodies and that is why the unfil...but probably not that would have been my reason. No need to be in pain I glad you are talking to doctor about it. GL this is a hard place to be.
  10. normal this will last a while. T hink about it they pumped air and water inside you it will take time for that to go away, BM's help a lot. You will be hungry in the weeks to come also until you start getting fills this take time. Its important to stay on the diet the doctor has set for you and the weight will come off but not yet just rest and heal.
  11. this should be interesting to read later today I don't think there would be a problem with the band itself but the wonderful available would be my problem no matter if I had a band or not. I am going to check in tonight on this one. GL
  12. we all hear ya I am sure hang in there its so worth it.
  13. there is meds for nausa promethazine hcl 25 mg I just have that on hand ask for that it will settle you stomach right doen and be sure to use your heating pad all the time and drink hot something.
  14. call the doctor but use a heating pad that really helps. Drink hot water that helps from the inside that helped me more then the pain meds.
  15. I was banded in Aug also with a 10 cc band and had 4 cc in it the day of surgery and after 3 fill now have 6.5 cc in it and it fills good. My doctor said every 2 wks I could have a fill. The fills make the band work. The band sits around the top of the stomach where the nevers to the brain are. It is suppose to be tight enough to tell thesenever on the first bit that u are full. the signal to you is not the restriction but how long after eating one cup do u feel hungry again. If it is 4-5 hours later then the band is in the green zone if no u need more. keep bugging the doctor or go to another.
  16. cant be missing your port cause you fill restriction. if tomorrow you don't feel better give them a call and go in. I s water going down now?
  17. I have learned to keep up with those fill there are the key....gj on you weight loss keep up the good work
  18. the company u got it from wont exchange it? what's the name of the machine u have?
  19. I had 4cc n a 10 cc band the day of surgery but didn't get band help until 3rd fill which put me at 6.5 cc and that is wonderful I am reminded every bit to eat slowly and chew chew chew. I don't remember them telling me I could come back every 2 wks until I felt that it was right and I waited a month and was miserable so be sure to ask and if u need it get in there. it great when you let the band work with you.
  20. you look great congradulation I am new b ut doing well and now love to lose weight and be on a diet since I am not hungry any more and a small anout fills me up cant wait to get where u are....great job
  21. give some time and do some walking or a bit of new exerce and see itf that doesn't kick start it.
  22. I'd call and get a bit more you shouldn't be hungry at all at this point. Being hungy and now the work is done you are going to want junk more.
