Yes, I do know that anything carbonated is a big NO NO. Not only does it hurt it could stretch the band. Try not to drink your champagne unless its completely flat

I feel the same way. As of today I'm down 14.8 pounds and feel great. I have pain where the port is also mostly if I'm bending down to pick up the kids toys, lol, and getting out of bed. Like you I'm feeling better everyday.I'm so excited to be on this journey.

Hi Everyone, My name is Amy and I am 4 days post-op. I have lost 10.8 pounds since the liquid diet a week prior to my surgery. I can not wait to get the the soft food stage and actually be able to chew my food again. Good luck to you all

But don't chew and drink at the same time

So here's my question, I just had my lap-band surgery 4 days ago. My husband and I are going away mid September for our 10 year wedding anniversary. At that time I will be on my second week of soft food and 4 weeks post-op. I hate that I won't be able to drink any alcohol. Besides getting really drunk on a sip or 2 what else could happen?

Yes you can count the water with crystal light. That's the only way I'll drink my water too

I feel good, just sore in the area where the port is. I was up walking around within a half hour after surgery. Good luck to you

Hi Everyone, I just want to introduce myself. My name is Amy & I just had my lap-band surgery on Wednesday the 22nd. I have lost 10.8 pounds since staring the liquid diet the week prior to surgery. Although I don't feel hungery I can not wait to be able to chew my food again. Good Luck to you all.
